Rotary Australia World Community Service Ltd (RAWCS) was formed by Australian Rotarians, Rotary Districts and Rotary Clubs. It was developed to help disadvantaged communities and individuals through humanitarian aid projects. The organisation currently supports over 300 projects, delivering human aid in numerous countries throughout the world. They deploy many volunteer work teams to projects, proactively tackle malaria and distribute goods where needed. Their many projects include health care; disease management; aiding mothers and children; growing local economies; repurposing equipment; protecting the environment; promoting peace; and providing clean water sanitation and hygiene.
RAWCS has an extensive program providing clean water to communities through the construction of safe water access points such as community deep bore hand pumps.
